The Lodge

Our nine cabins, each accommodating up to six persons, are designed to immerse you in the beauty of the natural surroundings. The cabins feature a combined living room and kitchen area, along with two bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable and homey atmosphere. Equipped for housekeeping, each cabin boasts propane lights, full-size refrigerators, stoves, and all the essential kitchen tools you need for a delightful stay. Linens and bedding, excluding top sheets, are provided, offering a hassle-free experience in the heart of nature.

Bathrooms, centrally located, provide flush toilets and hot and cold showers. For your convenience, an aluminum boat on the home lake is included in the price of each cottage, encouraging you to explore the serene waters at your leisure.

Devil’s Elbow Lodge

is a tranquil haven nestled on the shores of the secluded Sharrow Lake. From its humble beginnings, the lodge has evolved into a central hub featuring a main lodge, nine cabins, and a recreation room, creating an idyllic retreat surrounded by the pristine wilderness.

As an off-grid destination, Devil's Elbow Lodge invites you to unplug and unwind. While electricity is unavailable, limited cell service is accessible at the lodge tower, allowing you to stay connected if you wish to.

Conveniently located just 27 kilometers east of the Town of Bancroft, Devil's Elbow Lodge is easily accessible by traveling east on Highway 28 East and then south on the Bessemer Road for an additional 8 kilometers. Here, in the heart of Hastings County, you'll discover one of Ontario's finest fishing grounds. Sharrow Lake teems with Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and panfish. For avid anglers, rental boats are available for use on nearby lakes, offering the opportunity to reel in Bass, Pickerel, Lake Trout, and Northern Pike.
